Brighton-based artist Ken Eardley produces a range of distinctive, hand built functional ceramics. He has created a collection of ceramics with distinctively retro patterns, with designs reminiscent of Scandinavian folk art.
This highly popular and collectable ceramicist started with a background in textiles, he then moved on to create a distinctly fun and graphic range of functional ceramics for kitchens and interiors including mugs, jugs, vases, plates and bowls together with a new range of lamps. All his pieces are hand-made glazed earthenware and are made using press-moulds with hand-cut stencil decoration which are then fired three times. Ken’s artworks are very striking and highly popular and reflect his sense of humour.
