Julie Goldsmith

Julie is a graduate of Camberwell School of Art and a member of the Royal Society of Sculptors. She lives and works in London. Described in International Times as “Angela Carter on a Plate”, her ceramics and paintings are dark, beautiful and other-worldly. Her miniature portrait ‘Ghost of Marlowe’ is featured on the cover of The London Magazine Feb/Mar 2020.

Julie has exhibited at the Viktor Wynd Museum of Curiosities and Fine Art alongside Leanora Carrington and various London clubs and landmarks. Recent exhibitions include GOTH SHOP at the Truman Brewery and FUBAR at the Crypt Gallery, St. Pancras. Julie has an upcoming solo exhibition, Vampires and Poets, which opens in October 2020 at The Lexi Cinema Gallery Bar in West London. This will showcase some of the artist’s obsessions with the more gothic end of literary and cinematic figures.
