Liza Townsend

Liza has been creating stained glass for the last 25 years. It started as a hobby and grew into a passion and has become her livelihood. She trained at The Central School of Art in London in 3 Dimensional Design and went on to become a set and costume designer for theatre and events. Moving into glass when her children were young and after moving to Kent.

The countryside and nature have been Liza's main source of inspiration and continue to be so. She spends as much time as she can out sketching and photographing the beautiful landscape and sea scapes. Hares and fish are her most used images in glass. Their beautiful fluid shapes never cease to inspire her.
